I object to this proposal.
Stonehenge is just one of the features in the wider Stonehenge landscape. The proposed work would irreparably damage the landscape. This landscape has been preserved by previous generations and it is our responsibility to future generations to manage and study this World Heritage Site without causing any damage or compromising its integrity. The UK should be leading the world by example in maintaining Heritage sites.
There would also be a negative impact on the wildlife and environment in the area. Highways England have failed to propose alternative options, that would not have a detrimental impact on this World Heritage Site and archaeologically important landscape; this is a major failing by the organisation; alternative options must be investigated and published so that they can be evaluated by stakeholders. Stonehenge and its landscape must not be compromised.
