As a World Heritage Site, I do not like the idea that people will no longer be able to drive past and see Stonehenge. The only way they will be able to see this historic monument is by buying a ticket. It has been visible for many centuries and I would like it to continue to be seen.
I do appreciate that something must be done to improve the traffic on the A303. It is a nightmare. There must be a solution that preserves the site within its prehistoric area and surrounding sites, but improves the traffic situation. Cost should not be the only consideration.
