Firstly, I am appalled that in a time of climate melt-down, major huge roads are being still being planned. Secondly, I believe that the planned road will have a hugely detrimental impact on a site of national interest, a site that belongs to us all, not just drivers. The increased pollution levels, negative visual impact and damage to the natural landscape will be incalculable. We need to reduce our carbon footprint and nurture wildlife and flora, not ravage the natural world for material gain or gains in travelling time.
