When I was a child we would go to Stonehenge, at a time when we could wander amongst the stones, sit on them and feel part of the extraordinary landscape. I remember later the frightful tourist facility appearing and the underground approach to the stones. That was really too, too bad and we despaired. In these present times, so many things I have loved are being eroded and destroyed and I feel this happening to Stonehenge more and ever more. So much of it's arcane, mysterious silence already too much intruded upon. Proper respect for Stonehenge is tragically absent, and I have no understanding how or why this is. Stop now, there is no time or room for further abuses.
