I am [redacted]. The current plans to closed all the byways and put in a tunnel will mean I can no longer access Stonehenge at all. I am unable to use the English heritage "accessible" buses, they are only accessible to wheelchair users.
I have been celebrating(worshipping) at Stonehenge all my life. When I visit I need to have my vehicle with me as somewhere I can sit out of the weather, take my medications in private, a place where I can escape the hubbub(noisy tourists) and be alone to stop or reduce a meltdown/shutdown.
The stones need to continue to be accessible via the byways for all travellers to stop for an hour or a few days to be near by Stonehenge. I did not appreciate being completely excluded from the place where I connect with the divine most strongly because of my disabilities for the last 6 months, it has had a negative impact on my [redacted] and physical health.
The tunnel has already caused damage to the unexcavated archaeology and more will be destroyed as well as the local water table being severely impacted.
