I have grave concerns about the proposal to build an expressway, A303. This is an UNESCO World Heritage site and should be treated accordingly. UNESCO Adviers do not approve of this proposal. I consider it highly likely that the proposal will damage The Stonehenge site itself and the wider archaeological landscape such as the Blick Mead Mesolithic Site. The area is of importance for its wildlife, such as the now rare Stone Curlew and Great Bustard. The damage to our history, wildlife, tourist industry and international credibility is too great.
