This is a UNESCO World Heritage site that will be irreparably damaged, along with other important sites, not all of which have been fully excavated. It hampers views from some of the stones, the entire point of the monument.

It is a symbol of the United Kingdom, its long history and heritage, and should be left alone, particularly since there are alternatives to the proposed road and tunnel.
