I wish to object to the current plans for the Stonehenge site. The site, of outstanding international importance, is huge. It is not conceivable that we have discovered and identified all there is to know about it. I understand even preliminary work has damaged the site. It is not necessary for passing motorists to view the stones: the road should avoid the site altogether or be in a tunnel sufficiently long to achieve the same.
