I holiday in the south west of England and would lose sight of Stonehenge by the routing suggested. I object most strongly to this. It is the way to start a holiday. Yes the traffic needs attention but the routing must be above ground and sympathetic to the aged lands around. At some point in the future when we've worked out what it all means, we'll be denied the right to gain deeper involvement if you've allowed it all to be dug up and tipped elsewhere. Many learned people object to this and it makes me so mad that traffic must take precedence. Please give this ancient site utmost respect when deciding what to do.
