Apart from the obvious fact that stone henge is a national monument which also is held sacred by certain persons in their religious beliefs , and the fact i enjoy driving the 303 i wish to point out that noise and light pollution to species that have evolved in the natural method and populate the surrounding countryside . the introduction of this new development will interupt and cut the natural and adopted migration passages and channels that have developed and support such species in this area . everything from moths to water vole have such routes which will be disturbed and destroyed thus endangering more of our native species . it has been proven that relocation of invertebrates is unsuccessful . take for ex. ample the adder . it returns to where it came from. In addition to this it destroys more of this countryside for purely financial reasons similarly to other projects championed by highways England
