I am concerned that there will be irreparable damage to the WHS, its archaeology and setting, described by UNESCO as a ‘landscape without parallel’. Also, UNESCO’s international advisers say the scheme should not go ahead in its present form. I'm worried about damage to Blick Mead Mesolithic site and its setting. There's a distinct lack of alternative options in consultation that would not damage the World Heritage Site. We would lose the view from the road and would have to pay to see the Stones in future. Rare bird species such as Stone Curlew and Great Bustard would be disturbed. There would be increased noise and pollution from faster traffic.
