It's a World Heritage Site and any works will cause damage to both the site and the wildlife around it.
It will no longer be visible from the road for free. It belongs to all of us and removing that for pay-to-vire is unacceptable.
Increased noise from faster traffic and potential for increased polution and damage to stones.
Disturbance of Stone Curlew and Great Bustard nesting and breeding sites.
