I am against this development because:

  1. The only way to view Stonehenge will be to pay to see it, instead of the henge being a part of the publicly visible landscape.

  2. UNESCO does not want the project to go ahead in it's present form, and UNESCO's views should be respected.

  3. Stonehenge is part of a landscape that has existed for thousands of years and the permanent damage this project will cause, will deprive future generations. Also, damage will occur to the archaeology of the landscape.

  4. The Blick Mead Mesolithic site may be damaged, and the site is too important to risk.

  5. No alternative options were examined during earlier phases of planning, which could have avoided damage to the site.
