UNESCO have described this place -it's a world heritage site - as a "landscape without parallel". The pretty strong implication is that we should treat it with care and respect and not build all over it. UNESCO's advisers aare against the scheme in its present form. Also we have Blick Mead site - Mesolithic ie later than Stonehenge itself - and its setting to think about. I understand that some bird-species will be interfered with. I need not remind you that we are living through a massive loss of bio-diversity - a die-off as big as the Permian.
