I wish to raise my objection strongly against the plans as it will create Irreparable damage to this WHS, its archaeology and setting, UNESCO consider it to be a ‘landscape without parallel’ I fully agree with UNESCO’s international advisers with years of experience who say the scheme should not go ahead in its present form. The plans will cause damage to Blick Mead Mesolithic site and its setting There has been no real alternative options given to these plans in consultation that would not damage this World Heritage Site. In addition the view from the road will be lost as well as limiting those who wish to view the stones and visit. Huge Disturbance of rare bird species (Stone Curlew and Great Bustard) due to destruction of habitats and Increased noise from traffic.
