The congested road next to Stonehenge needs to be moved but the proposed tunnel is too short, in the wrong place and on the cheap. It will damage archaeological sites and affect aquifers.

This proposed expressway and road tunnel will cause irreplaceable damage to the 5,000 year old heritage site which extends a lot further than just the stone circle itself.

Stonehenge is a global icon. Sufficient money must be spent on a solution that takes the road in a different direction with a longer tunnel.

Whatever it takes is cheap to restore Stonehenge to its natural setting with traffic noise and vibration far away.
