The area surrounding Stonehenge is full of archaeological sites, many unlike any other sites. Any major development in the area, such as building a tunnel, will cause irreversible damage. I drive along the A303 several times a year, and although traffic can build up, I'd rather be stuck in a traffic jam for a little than permanently damage such an important site.
I urge you to reject this plan and open a wider consultation about alternatives.
