I'm objecting because I disagree with the inevitable irreversible damage which would occur to the land in the area. It's a unique setting of immense archaeological value and a hugely important part of our heritage and needs preserving as it is. My understanding is that UNESCO advisor are not satisfied that the scheme to put these roads etc in is actually fit to fulfil the protections it needs to. Additionally there is the consideration of unacceptable potential damage to Blick Mead Mesolithic site and its surroundings. While there are still not sufficient alternatives to consider which avoid damage then it should not go ahead. I think its important that people travelling locally can view the stones. Also visting the stones should be free. Lastly rare bird species ought to be left in peace (Stone Curlew and Great Bustar) as well as the local people who will not welcome the increased noise from the traffic.
