  1. If the project goes ahead it will result in permanent damage to this World Heritage Site, its archaeology and setting including damage to Blick Mead Mesolithic site and its setting, therefore breaking our link to a prehistory sophisticated enough to build a 'monument' that is known to have connected all corners of this island and quite possibly beyond.

  2. UNESCO's advisers say the scheme should not go ahead in its present form.

  3. There is a lack of alternative options that would not damage the World Heritage Site in the consultation.

  4. There seems to by a cynical undertone to the project restricting the view of the stones effectively forcing people to pay-to-see.

5.It is well known that new fast roads both increase traffic volumes with increased noise from more and faster traffic.

  1. The disturbance to rare bird species; The Stone Curlew and the Great Bustard.
