Please find below my concerns regarding the A303 Stonehenge Expressway:

  • irreversible damage to Stonehendge landscape and surrounding ancient monuments (such as Blick Mead) Independent researchers, UNESCO, archeologists and prominent experts like Dan Snow, president of the Council of British Archeology, all voice their concerns about the sure devastation of surrounding Stone Age monuments that will be forever lost should the highway project goes through.

  • the preservation, study, further discovery & study and landscape of surrounding monuments will be heavily damaged and obstructed

  • disruption of wildlife and increased noise from the traffic

  • obstruction of winter solstice sunrise observation Stonehenge is an ancient site with unique solar, moon and stellar alignments. Thousands of people observe some of them every year. The project will make the observation of the sunrise during winter solstice impossible.

Please consider these concerns and protect one of the world's most valuable ancient monuments and its surrounding ancient monuments. Thank you.
