Stonehenge and it's setting comprise an irreplaceable global heritage asset. This place is at the core of English history and myth. These facts are accepted by the international community; Unesco say the current scheme should not go ahead.
Stonehenge and the wider environment have already been damaged over the years, most recently damage has been caused at Blick Mead, this is totally unacceptable.
To many, Stonehenge is a sacred place, it must be treated with respect. The Stones have stood for millenia, they should not bow to the wants of modernity.
