The flyover at Countess roundabout will adversely affect the local walk along the river Avon below Lord's Walk in Amesbury. The flyover will follow nearly all of the river walk and really ruin it. This is a much used area and many people will be affected. It would be much better to have a longer tunnel or to divert the road east of Boscombe Down as damage could be done to the Stonehenge site. The scheme will mean more noise for Amesbury residents and as some vehicles will not use the tunnel there will be more traffic in both Amesbury and Larkhill.
