If this plan goes ahead one of the most important heritage sites in the world will be irreparably damaged. Please rethink and do not let this road go ahead. There have been countless destructions of valuable sites in the past that are today regarded with horror and deep regret, don't let this be another such example. Stonehenge is 5,000 years old, it has survived invasion, civil war, world wars and innumerable other trials, we cannot be the generation that endanger its survival. Approval of this proposal would be utterly unforgivable.
