Stonehenge is a World Heritage site, and one of the most famous sites in the world. It is one of England's most recognizable landmarks, if you ask people to name landmarks in England, Stonehenge is bound to come up. And it's going to be ruined for a road. There are countless books and videos made about Stonehenge constantly. Going to Amazon (US) & typing in Stonehenge under the subjects of books gives you 2,000 results. The Great Courses has a course called "The Roots of Religion", and Stonehenge is the picture they use for the course on their website. This road is going to do irreparable damage to one of the oldest sites in England, the stone circles were erected in 2500 BC / BCE. Please halt this. Thank you for reading.
