The new Thames crossing would be the biggest road project since the M25. It would be astonishing if this project were to go ahead considering we are in the midst of an environmental catastrophe. This road development will encourage more cars, vans, lorries and traffic, pumping more air pollution and climate-damaging emissions into our environment. Its a mega-carbon emitting project that this capital does not need. Politicians need to wake up and take their blinkers off.
