It is in the wrong place and the traffic systems on either side of the river have not been thought through properly. The route to the channel ports is through the A229 which is already back on to the M2 every rush hour. Really dangerous. History of recent infrastructure schemes are underpriced in order to get permission as they wouldn’t get if they were honest. They recently have been undercoated by on average a factor of 210% so the likely cost of this project will probably come out at £17.22bn. The country cannot afford this. Don’t let it happen.
