Representation submitted on behalf of the Trustees of the AJA Voluntary Settlement in respect of land at Scalers Hill, Cobham – Scotland Lane - The Trust require retained access to Well Shaw for any purpose and at any time via Scotland Lane - The improved byway is expected to be subject to heavier use and the boundaries with the Trust’s land must be adequately fenced at National Highway’s cost and be National Highway’s responsibility to maintain and repair in the future to avoid the risk of trespass and antisocial behaviour Ecological habitat creation – badger set - The Trust’s land shown on the General Arrangement Plans (sheet 6) does not identify it as being required for habitat creation. - The Trust’s land is not included in the Outline Landscape and Ecology Management Plan. - It is understood that the subject land was originally required to create a badger set to re-home badgers presently located to the north of the HS1 railway line. The badgers are expected to relocate via a culvert which first opens onto Jeskyns Community Woodland. It is submitted that this new badger set should be constructed on Forestry Commission land, and not on private land.
