All options to view what is going to be developed have been limited and last minute, thereby not providing communities with sufficient time to question what is happening. This has been concealed in order to avoid any objections and prevent communities from organising. The presentation in Brandon Groves yesterday was not publicised and the information provided was out of date. When Thurrock has high levels of pollution already, how is having an additional cross through this area going to improve that? This has not been designed with Thurrock’s well-being in mind. In addition, the existing crossing would function sufficiently if there were not lane closures on a regular basis. This is progress for progress sake and the costs to the communities it will impact or ruin are too great. Who is developing this crossing and what is their connection to the council and government??
