In a climate emergency, there’s no justification for going ahead with this project. The data on this is clear, our planet can’t cope with this and it’s going to increase our dependence on fossil fuels when our collective efforts should be to decrease our reliance on fossil fuels. I therefore, on behalf of my young children, have strong reservations about this project and it’s impact on the natural environment immediately around it and it’s wider impact and contribution to emissions.
