My concerns about the proposals are that they will lead to the following adverse consequences : 1. Biodiversity loss, notably to water voles, reptiles and rare insects ; 2. Damage to and fragmentation of habitats, including ancient woodland and local wildlife sites ; 3. Increased noise and lighting disturbance to bats, birds and insects ; 4. Reduced remoteness and wildness of landscape and it's tranquility ; 5. Generating more traffic and increasing CO2 emissions, which directly conflicts with the government target to achieve net zero by 2050 ; 6. Associated development and future developments will put more pressure on wildlife and wild spaces.
