I am against the LTC scheme and am particularly concerned about the health and environmental impacts of the scheme, as well as the cost. The scheme is based on pre-COVID data which is now out of date and will not solve the issue of the overcapacity of the Dartford Crossing, or at least not for very long. I am very concerned that the crossing will pass very near residential properties which house families and those with pre-existing lung and heart health issues. I am also concerned that the crossing junction with the A13 is so close to a new school being built in the area and to a nursing home housing those with dementia. I am very concerned about the health impacts on these people and on my own family.
