I live very close to the proposed site of the tunnel and so would like to register as an interested party. I am concerned about noise and pollution during the construction phase and air pollution and traffic when the tunnel is built. (REDACTED) I am concerned the tunnel will mean more pollution and issues for them and that during construction there will be ongoing noise during weekends and holidays. Over the last week there has been loud noise overnight similar to drilling. I am concerned about wild life to the rear of my home in lower Higham road and access to the footpaths which lead to the river, also ensuring this area is protected and privacy of residents as I understand there is a proposal to build a service road to the rear of our properties so I would like to know if this is correct and what it might be used for. How will we monitor traffic and pollution from the tunnel once complete and will local residents receive any benefits or investment to compensate for the huge disruption? Finally I want to understand the impact this will have on relieving traffic from Dartford tunnel, we're told this is main purpose but the numbers show only a very small percentage will move from Dartford to the new LTC, it would be good to understand the real impact this massive investment will have.
