By National Highways very own figures The LTC does not reduce existing A282/m25 congestion enough to make a difference within the Thurrock / Dartford region. The proposed LTC does not tackle existing poor air quality, ie not enough improvements made. My property will revive added pollution from the proposed LTC potentially reducing my quality of life. The projected number of new crossings made will create blight by noise / vibrations and potentially light pollution. The DfT should be improving freight rail capacity which has significant benefits to the Uk, not just for reduction is the use of polluting HGVs around the A282 / M25 corridor.
