With regard to Junction 21 Southern roundabout, I would very much like to see a point of access for a road to Maldon, bypassing Hatfield Peverel. As a resident of Hatfield Peverel, the through traffic along The Street, [B1137} going to and from Maldon along the B1019, at times, is stationary. With the new proposed changes this will be exacerbated and will also affect the road through Boreham as it is unlikely that motorists will choose to go to Witham to access the A12 southbound; they will continue to use the route they do now. Braintree and Maldon Councils need to address this issue as a matter of urgency as they have both approved so much housing development.
