V concerned at impact on trees and the screening they give to ours and other houses . The new footbridge would be better placed at the bottom of Gershwin Boulevard rather than coming through the small area of woodland and then having to entirely break up the bank of trees behind the houses. At the bottom of Gershwin Boulevard there are no houses directly overlooking that area. We were not even aware of a footbridge in the original plans so had no opportunity to comment on it before. If the A12 is to be expanded in both directions i.e. on the northbound, towards our house then the existing bank of trees will have to be reduced and yet no one seems to be able to say what alternative measures will be put in place to protect the impact on the houses. Another major concern particularly if the footbridge is not relocated as suggested above is the financial impact on the value of our property.
