I have lived [Redacted] Boreham for 34 years and have seen the effect on this road when accidents close either junction to the A12 and it is bedlam! Therefore I am very concerned and against the closure of 20a and 20b junctions together with the location of the new A12 junction and the failure to consult on either. National Highways admit that the increase in traffic will have adverse effects for residents from air quality, noise/vibration and sleep disruption. I am very concerned about all or those effects and in addition the traffic being at a standstill along the Main Road during rush hours. The scheme fails a key objective of switching traffic from local roads to the A12. The outcome for Boreham is more (NOT less) rat- running traffic on local roads.
