Stanfords act as agent for J R Crayston & Sons [Redacted] and are instructed to make this representation on their behalf to the Planning Inspectorate in respect of the A12 Chelmsford to A120 Widening Scheme. This representation is based on information available to us as at the date of this submission. The client reserves their ability to submit further comments pending receipt of more information. Our client would like to formally object to the proposed scheme. Our client owns land which is affected by the proposed scheme. The land affected is located north of the current A12 slip road at Feering (nearest postcode: CO5 9EG). We have studied the latest Land Plans in relation to the property and have summarised the land proposed to be taken by National Highways below. Land to be used temporarily and new rights to be acquired permanently: Land Plan Sheet 15, Plot Number 10a Purpose for which land is required: DCO Work No. U160 - The diversion of buried 11kV electricity cable ducts of approximately 150 metres in length between the field to the north of the A12 junction 24 northbound on-slip road and the A12 junction 24 southbound off-slip road. The initial General Arrangement Plans had shown our clients losing their existing access into the subject land. However, following various meetings with the design team and National Highways representatives, an access has now been provided to our client's land (now showing on the latest General Arrangement Plans), just north of the proposed Feering East Roundabout. Our clients would like to request further details of this access and DCO Work No. U160 when this becomes available. Our client would also like to comment on the vital importance of the Link Road from London Road Feering/New lane, to Inworth road Feering, south of Threshelfords Business park. This will help reduce congestion and pollution at the Blue Anchor/Gore Pit junction Feering.
