L&Q, Cirrus Land and G120 land (the 'promoters') are promoters of land adjacent to Marks Tey on junction 25 of the A12. The promoters land falls within the area of growth previously identified for a new settlement on the Colchester - Braintree border. The promoters are able to deliver a new settlement alongside other services and infrastructure (education, green and blue infrastructure, retail, etc). The proposed A12 works and what happens with the current A12 alignment will have a direct impact upon the promoters proposals. Including shaping their highways and sustainable transport strategy. As such, they have a significant interest in the proposals.
