I am in full support of the application for a DCO made by Riveroak Strategic Partners. I feel that the plans submitted are concise and prove to me that the development of Manston Airport is of vital importance to Thanet, Kent and the south of England. The need for extra airport capacity is proven by the need to expand existing London airports. Thanet is a very deprived area with high unemployment, the jobs that the development of Manston Airport will create goes far beyond the Airport its self, it will turn Thanet into a thriving area, and possibly encourage other company's to come to Thanet, that could in turn offer far more work opportunities and give hope and purpose to our young people who at present are in desperate need for local work.
