Manston as an airport is a necessity to the people of thanet and surrounding areas. Using the airport as,primarily, a cargo airport would also go some way in relieving the pressure on the other airports
The people in Thanet are in desperate need of jobs. Housing on this site would only contribute to the continuing chaos on the roads throughout Thanet. The gp,dental and education system cannot cope with the amount of people already residing in Thanet.
