I am a very interested person who can only hope this application will succeed . Aviation is increasing year on year and Manston as an airfield can not in ten fifteen or twenty years be reclaimed from another bear field site --its already here with good roads and above all a railway very close by with an original cutting that used to connect with the airfield. Most aircraft would approach over the sea in the east and it has to be turned into a freight hub . On a recent visit to Toowoomba in Australia way out in the wilds they have built a fantastic airport to cope with aviation expansion . This Examining Authority needs to look at projects like Toowoomba and get Manston back on the Aviation map . Thanet is one of the most depressed areas in uk and this project would bring a huge up turn in the economy of Thanet .
