I am deeply opposed to Manston Airport being reopened for aviation purposes.
The site should be used for housing and recreation as opposed to building on prime agricultural land as is proposed for my local area.
The site would be ideal for housing as it is already served by a good road infrastructure.
To maintain the sites historical heritage part of the planning gain if housing is allowed would be to upgrade the current aviation museum which is not currently a fitting memorial to the pilots of WW2. A new primary school would also be required.
