I am totally opposed to the redevelopment of Manston as a cargo hub. The current owners have put forward a plan for mixed development including enough housing stock to meet government requirements now and for several years to come.i was previously a resident in Spencer Square Ramsgate I now reside in Margate. I remember, vividly, the noise and pollution resulting from the cargo planes that once flew. At that time there were not that many the airport owners did not have a viable business and the operation failed resulting in closure of the airport. If flying is allowed the airport will have operate a signicantly larger number of flights including night flights. The resulting noise and pollution for the residents of Ramsgate and Herne Bay will be intolerable.
