My interest in this application is to understand fully the impact the airport will have on the community both positive and negative. How many jobs this will create for the local area both skilled and unskilled, how many jobs will be transferred from other airports and how will this affect the community in the local area. Jobs are scarce in Thanet along with housing, and schools. Night flights how many will there likely to be? With an estimated 28 flights per day that equates to more than one an hour. Traffic this will not lessen the amount of Lorries on the Kent roads but will probably increase the decrease will be in Europe as there will be no need to travel to European airports. What environmental impact is that going to have on the local community. How have you measured the health and safety of persons living locally. How do you propose to deal with the effect this may have on peoples home. Will any dwellings become subject to a compulsory purchase order.
