There is a lot to say about this continuing battle for Manston Airports revival. We are local residents who invested in shares in Wiggins as we wholeheartedly agreed with the promotion and execution of the airport. Although our shares were lost our opinion has not changed. We applaud enterprise and innovation. The prospect of having flights that may eventually offer long haul would be a wonderful marketing opportunity securing employment for the community alongside alleviating traffic at Gatwick,Heathrow and Stanstead somewhat with the added opportunity for local residents to enjoy reasonably priced holidays abroad practically from your doorstep. I am sure this will be welcomed from airline companies and that the majority of Thanet population would be delighted to be offered a cheaper less stressful ordeal to their holiday destination. In turn these holidays can be figured in as more affordable with the bonus of less expense for fuel and parking or a cab to the aforementioned airports. Consideration surely must also be given for shorter check in times and not having to leave home at an unearthly hour for flights. In essence you are offering to take stress away from people and you cannot put a price on that. Another point I would like to make is that life experiences are also priceless especially for children and if you can provide a well budgeted service to accommodate a low income cohort then this has to be factored in. It’s a no brainer. All four of us including extended family would definitely without hesitation book flights.

We offer our full support.
