Manston has been an airfield since the First World War. The UK is in need of more capacity to meed the needs of increasing air freight & passenger demand. Thanet is an area in need of investment in & development of employment opportunities. Manston as a site is well placed to be redeveloped as a modern airport & support facilities to meet these needs & develop these opportunities.
