Hello planning inspectorate,
I wanted to email you to inform you that I think that reopening of Manston airport is very important. I feel that the local economy and community will definitely benefit.
If you look at Pfizer's, who was a major employer in the past, then you can clearly see that Manston would have the same affect. The connection to Europe will also be important whether Brexit is a success or not, as well.
I am a paramedic for SEcamb and I am constantly in touch with local people. I feel the deprivation and lack of employment would be significantly improved with Manston reopening.
For myself and my friends, access to a local airport would allow me to fly to Europe when I am off shift and my down time will contribute to my well being. Which may not be high on any ones list but for me to be able to travel to Europe with my friends and family. Well, it would be nice to be able to share some time with reasonable costs.
I hope that Manston's reopening is successful.
