The airport will bring long term jobs into the area. Freight has been a success before and wants to come back. It is quicker for freight to land at manston and be distributed out. The planned infastructure is great for it. Manston has one of the longest runways and is suitable for most planes. Emergency landings can come back here and then Gatwick does not need to clos because of them. The links with education and universities brings local training for people. It has a very long history in aviation and we need it back.
