Thanet area already has a large population . It's infra structure is already reaching breaking point with insufficient schools , medical practitioners and a hospital and ambulance service that is struggling to cope with the high proportion of emergencies everyday. Unemployment levels in the area iare regularly measured as one of the highest in England. Extra housing of any sort without considering these factors will, almost certainly result in a catastrophic reduction of residents already low quality of life. Manston Aiirport has already a custom built facility with one of the longest runways in he country ad has historically been us as an emergency runway thus saving chaos at the London airports if there were any air rat in difficulty. If it was developed as a working airport it would supply greate employment in he area and thus Greer lol prosperity
