I support the potential for the re-opening of Manston Airport in Kent as an international passenger airport for the following reasons:
For the national interest of Britain because Manston Airport has functioned as an airport for a long period of time & closing it to convert into a residential/commercial area is a great loss. In view of impending Brexit; Manston Airport is very much needed as a fully functional airport.
Reopening Manston Airport will create much needed local jobs.
As an airport Manston will be a very convenient airport to travel to & fro other airports in Europe & will save having to travel to London airports from Thanet.
